Footage on Syrian State TV showing Army training maneuvers, and display the anti-aircraft lethal weapon Pantsir S1 showcasing its capabilities. The maneuvers are believed to be a message to NATO countries to think twice before violating the Syrian airspace.
Although many thought the Turkkish jet was downed using this weapon, Syria Tribune sources confirmed that it was downed by AAA, not a missile.
